Up-and-Coming Indie Artist Della announces the release of her newest single “Take Your Out,” published by Syryn Records on July 31.
Della has delved deep into her emotions with her newest release “Take Your Out.” She says, “It’s about being insecure in a relationship, questioning what you’re capable of giving and whether you have anything left to give after being torn down or burned in past relationships.” Love, heartbreak, and longing all resonate throughout the sweet tone of the song with Della trying to personally navigate salvaging a relationship with her lover.

Della is 18-year-old Kendall Hite. She grew up connected and surrounded by music in Southern California. Watching her dad sing in the church choir and her older brother follow his dreams in New York, she was inspired to start her own individual journey with music. Kendall began to craft her music to cope with being a growing girl with big thoughts and feelings. Taking inspiration from artists like Mazzy Star and Elliott Smith, she admired the catharsis and release of their gentle force in songwriting. Writing songs became an instinctual outlet for Kendall to be vulnerable and validate the weight and spectrum of her emotions.
Della’s songs take on multiple perspectives on emotionally driven aspects of growing up. Her lyrics paint pictures of scenes and abstract imagery of coming of age and the highs and lows of the human experience. The lullabies feature her familiar and healing melancholic vocals layered with glistening sleepy harmonies. She aims for her audience to experience their own haven and internal monologue while listening to her melodies.
