Fifteen-year-old singer-songwriter Ryann Eve releases her quarantine-inspired debut single, “Same Shirt Different Day,” available on SoundCloud and Bandcamp on July 31st, and later in August on Spotify, as well.

“Same Shirt Different Day” refers to wearing the same outfits throughout each and every day in quarantine. Metaphorically speaking, its message is about how people don’t change. It is quite difficult to really break your mold and evolve, and Ryann states she is one of those people: “Despite how hard I try, I fall back into the same old patterns.”

This jazzy, pop single has piano chords pierce through it while Ryann’s strong vocals sing out the first verse. The bass and kick drums keep the song moving and pick up the beat as a synthesizer and a soft trombone join in for the chorus. But Ryann Eve’s rich and powerful voice is what really makes this single. By the end of the song, you will find yourself singing along.

Ryann Eve has so much musical talent as she is skilled in piano, guitar, bass, and of course vocals. She has been vocally trained in jazz and blues since she was in 3rd grade. She has a deep passion for creating music—“Finding the right chords or weaving together the right words has to be my favorite part of all,” she says—and her songwriting is fresh and original. She also loves writing and public speaking, and she wants her future to be in the music business. She has played at open indie mics and a charity benefit concert; however, she has yet to perform at her own gigs, which is a big goal for her.

Ryann Eve’s music abilities and her incredible voice are strong and unique, and “Same Shirt, Different Day” is undoubtedly the beginning of a shining career.

“It’s my dream to reintroduce the old jazz and bluesy undertones I grew with back into modern pop and the general public. But all in all, I just want to keep creating. Music is how I express myself. Whether it be to a room of hundred or on the side of the street, it’s still music. It’s still me.”
